INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
2022
Independence Day was celebrated with jingoistic fervour being a very special and a momentous day themed as Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrating the completion of 75 glorious years of Independence. The programme commenced with hoisting of the National Flag by our honourable Principal Ma’am, Ms. Shilpa Bhatnagar followed by singing of our National anthem with zealous spirit.
Students enthusiastically recited the famous poem by nobel laureate Shri Rabindra Nath Tagore “Where the mind is without fear”.
A rainbow of artistic programmes showcased the little angles parading in their iconic attires as the national heroes who laid their lives for the freedom of our country. Striving for the peace in a musical rendition the school choir sang ‘Vande Mataram’ our national song and few other vibrant melodious patriotic songs. The creative melange culminated with the fabulous ‘Yoga’ performance exhibiting their endurance leaving the audience captivated. The event ended with a motivational speech by our respected Principal Ma’am infusing the students, teachers and staff with the feeling of nationalism spreading the message of unity, clean India, pride in our country and to be the responsible citizens of India. Her words that no nation can be strong if its citizens do not take pride in their identity, filled the hearts of the onlookers with emotions and patriotism. The students pledged to be honourable and worthy citizens of our country making it proud. The celebration was a grand success; not the culmination of an event but the beginning of a new era.
